Amine Sbia works at the meeting point of football management and executive education.
He served as Chief Operating Officer of CR Belouizdad and as President of WA Tlemcen, two Algerian clubs, dealing with the everyday realities of running an institution: squad decisions, transfer negotiations, sponsorship, and relations with the league and the federation. Before moving into football, he spent close to twenty years in marketing, communications and business development, including seven years running his own agency, across Algeria, Montenegro and Canada.
He founded Learn & Lead Center and currently works with ÉGIC (École de Gestion et d'Innovation Canada) in Montreal, where he leads an Executive Master in Football Management delivered to club executives and former players.
He has a particular interest in how transfers are handled from the selling side of African markets, the structures behind the deals, and what tends to get lost in translation between the two ends of a negotiation.
