I am a Senior Associate at SILA International Lawyers. We specialize in sports law, covering every area where our clients need assistance. In particular, I most frequently work with football and basketball but have often worked with other athletes in individual sports.
In terms of sports law, SILA is one of the biggest contributors in terms of cases before FIFA and CAS, so my work is split between litigation and other areas, such as employment contracts, transfers, disciplinary case, and anti-doping. Other than the above, SILA is increasingly active in the field of motorsports. As I am a big Formula 1 fan, this is one area I am particularly interested in.
Prior to joining SILA in January 2021, I worked for the International Teqball Federation (“FITEQ”). At FITEQ, I was the sports services coordinator and developed the regulatory framework with Sports Integrity Ltd, which included all regulations, i.e., ethics, disciplinary, statutes, and anti-doping. Currently, I am a clerk to the FITEQ Ethics and Disciplinary Committee.
Finally, I am interested in developing various educational programs to increase the overall level among stakeholders in sports. So, I am involved in SILA’s football agent course, developing the SILA Academy, and participating in multiple conferences per year.
