Program in Progress
Ksenija Damjanović is a Serbian attorney-at-law specialized in sports law, with focus on football-related legal matters. She has been practising sports law from 2013, advising and representing various sports stakeholders – including clubs, players, coaches, agents, and national associations. She has extensive experience before the FIFA Football Tribunal and the Court of Arbitration for Sport, having acted as legal counsel in numerous international proceedings. A notable achievement in career is the representation of WFC Spartak Subotica in a training compensation claim against FC Barcelona, a case that culminated in CAS 2016/A/4598. This landmark and, to date, unique case marked the first application of FIFA’s training compensation rules to women’s football. Since 2019, Ksenija Damjanović has served as UEFA Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector and since 2022 as a member of the Dispute Resolution Chamber of the Football Association of Serbia. Prior to this, she was member of the Football Association of Serbia Committee on Working with Intermediaries. In addition to her work on employment contracts, transfer agreements, disputes, disciplinary and regulatory matters, Ksenija also advises on image rights, endorsement deals, and sponsorship agreements.
